I am not a cold-weather person, in fact, I am a summer person and I am excited that winter is finally over and that spring has officially arrived. Especially because I have concerts and road trips already planned out and scheduled.
Here’s the struggle, during winter I tend to really want to hibernate and not do a thing but it’s this affirmation that helps me get through the gray and cold days of winter. I can’t wait for the flowers to start doing their thing.
Even though I am a bit allergic to bees, I love seeing them and their buzzing does bring happiness because you know they are actually hard at work.
And let’s not forget that the butterfly is all about transformation – such as going from winter to spring. The winter represents the cocoon in a way where we go through small changes before emerging a bit transformed. Winter always allows me to be reflective about my life and the goals I have.
But spring isn’t summer and there will still be cooler days and nights and there’s nothing better than to curl up with a crochet blanket but in this case, maybe take the baby on a stroll as the weather is getting warmer.
